When you type your search terms, you'll see some suggested search options:

• Articles, Books, Media & More: All books, media, articles and more that the library provides access to
• Books & Media: Physical and electronic items owned by the library
• Articles: Journal articles the library provides access to; check the "Add Results Beyond WPI" box to include those beyond the WPI Library collections
• Course Reserves: All print books placed on Reserves by course instructors
• Student Projects & Research: IQP reports, MQP reports, theses and dissertations, and other WPI student projects

Log in to your library account to:

• Save search results to My Favorites
• Request articles and books through Interlibrary Loan
• Renew books and other items on loan
• Export citations to your favorite citation tool

• Set up an appointment with a librarian
• Chat with a librarian
• Email library@wpi.edu

• Search for an exact phrase by using quotation marks, such as “solar energy”
• Use the asterisk as a substitute for one or more characters: recycl* will retrieve recycle and recycling
• After you search, refine your search results by filtering by categories, such as whether an item is available online or in the library, resource type, date, author, etc.
• Use the advanced search to pre-limit your search to specific fields, resource types, language, and publication dates
